Our History

Motion Company was founded in the Fall of 2000 in Sacramento, CA. With only 1,000 square feet of production and a manual printing press, company founder Tom Davenport set out to "change the industry". The idea was to establish a youth driven company which would exceed the Apparel Printing Industry standards in technical practices, production management, customer service, and company ethics. Today the mission is carried onward by an organization of individuals, sharing the same values on which Motion Company was founded. Production has grown both in size and capability, utilizing state of the art equipment and production management to produce over 1,000,000 imprinted units annually. Motion Company has received recognition for it's success in business and within the Apparel Printing Industry, including a spot on Impressions Magazine's "Top Volume Screen Printer" list.

Motion Company continues to define itself as an organization intent on elevating Apparel Printing Industry standards. We welcome 2008 as an opportunity for continued growth and development including:
